I’m actually pretty happy with this. It’s a very different style for me to work with. I really wanted to draw some retro punk chick with high pants a huge biker jacket and a bad attitude. Not at all inspired by Jamie Hewlett or Puppytube, nooooo never.

I really like working like this, I might do it more often, lots of experimenting with this. I also have two versions of this with different words, might put up a side by side comparison on my tumblr [link] later.

For the color on the characters I used multiple gradients on a layer linked to my layer already colored in for the characters. I used the color sliders to pick colors of the same saturation and similar value

I've been finding that the color slider can be really helpful for these types of colors! Hope that helps
