Fantine

  Fantine is a weird mix of creatures, ranging from fish, reptiles and some mammals.  her hair actually is fleshy, full of blood vessels and nerves that help her find tiny movements in the water around her.  she was raised by a kind old lady living in a house alone, that happened to come across a small baby creature calling out to it’s deceased mother that was only a few feet away, killed by hunters.  Fantine called her ‘Mamere’ as a language accident that she never learned to fix. her Mamere raised her like her own child and taught her about the world that she wasn’t able to venture to.  
Fantine grew up with a limited education and a very skittish attitude towards humans.  her curiosity would many times cause her venture off to view human events from afar, eventually rumors would start to spread about an alligator monster due to this.  her Mamere protected her for the most part, until old age caught up with her. 
in short, she’s a really shy swamp monster that speaks in a thick cajun/creole accent. her eyesight also isn’t very good.
as a hobby, she learned to love making meals and cooking the many creatures she hunted. though she has no one to cook for now, she still enjoys it.

 i’ll eventually do a full body drawing of Fantine when I feel more up to it. this was a lot of fun though.
