Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3

can anyone help me with this, I'm trying to get my video games to work (resident evil 4, RE code veronica, Silent hill 2) and I can't get them to play! I don't know if it's the discs or my PS2, all the discs are used and a little scratched up,(hah little) especially RE4 and I don't know why! My PS2 is over 5 years old and I've had to take it apart and clean it more than once. but does anyone have any tips or tricks to help? or at least know a cheap deal on Resident Evil Code Veronica, Resident Evil 4, Or Silent hill 2? I bought silent hill 2 used and I returned it 3 times and I still can't get any discs of it to play ;__;
my luck with electronics sucks, usually nothing ever works the way it's suppose to with me..

Problem with mine is it says there's a disc error and it wont read the disc

I wish games were more reliable...

lol, thats what i'm doing with mine (got it on the first day the ps2 came out) it wont open on its own, you have to force it. X_x but i am happy i have it, and the ps3 is still to much.

XD I had gameboy - it lived for 8 years.
I have PS2 - it still works from 2004 XD
We had one microwave for 13 years and we still have one clock which is more than 30 years old XD
but I had weird situation - I bought Fight Night Round 4 this September. Now me X-Box says that CD is dirty - I checked - even no scratch on it but it doesn't want to work ><

By the way - I never cleaned my PS2 XD
