Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. am I the only one who's message center is different?  It's probably a Beta tester thing, but it's so odd!  I used to just look through my groups deviations and delete things, now it's a freakin folder!  I dunno i'll delete this part of the journal sometime soon, I just think it's strange, I don't really like this, and it's doing the same thing with messages and I can't change it back to the way it was.  I guess it's okay, but takes a lot more effort.

On another note-  I just realized how much I love the Batman animated series from the 90s, i've been watching some episodes with netflix, and holy shit, were did good cartoons go?!  The animation is amazing beyond all means, and the stories?  OH GOD SO FREAKIN AWESOME.  I love the villains so much, Two Face has a special place in my heart forever!  I want to draw him now *U*
I guess I have to thank the Batman Arkam Asylum game for getting me back into the series, cause it's kick ass man!   But seriously, I'm having so much nostalgia from this show WHERE DID THE 90's CARTOONS GOOOOOOOO?!  And if you haven't watched the series... DO IT NOAW

It is possible to sort the subcategories such as journals and deviations by using the links on the left-side of your message centre, but they don't seem to have an option for the main message centre page yet.
